We need to continue our efforts to further penetrate the financial services industry to recruit new members to the association. Including Insurance and other asset based financial service providers. Shorter lead times on programs, tighter budgets, expectation to deliver the same or a higher quality meetings/incentive programs with the same or less budget dollars. ICPA plans to help our members continue to grow in the meetings profession.
It is very important we quantify the value to the marketplace of our members' business. We do not have a current value of total spend of our memberships' business. How much our members are spending on their meetings and conferences is vital to the continued support of the Hospitality Community as it is to the other industry associates. The hospitality partners need to know the total worth of the business generated by the insurance and financial services community so they, in turn, can educate their senior executives on the value of continued support of this market.
